"Ask An Expert" Sessions
Our “Ask an Expert” educational sessions are gaining popularity with our insurance customers for numerous reasons. Here’s how it works:
- Short informal sessions: These Q&A-type open forums are approximately 60-90 minutes in duration and are customized to meet the needs of individual customers.
- You choose the discipline: We’ll book an “Expert” from the discipline of your choice and try to accommodate your timeframe (this is dependent on the availability of our “Experts”).
- You pick the time: Morning, lunch and afternoon sessions are available (we are pleased to provide complimentary meals, snacks & refreshments if requested).
- We’ll come to you: For your convenience, a West Park Assessment Centre Representative and our “Expert” will host these sessions at your place of business.
- Ask an Expert: This is an opportunity for adjusters to ask questions related to the Expert’s discipline including types of impairments/injuries he/she is able to assess, treatment modalities, methodology of their assessment, training, etc.

Customer Seminars at West Park
Over the last few years, we have provided a number of half-day seminars at West Park Healthcare Centre, which have been well attended by our customers. Here’s how it works:
- Half-day seminars: These morning seminars are geared towards a larger audience (multiple customers) and are held periodically in the Main Auditorium at West Park.
- Topics are varied: Topics are determined based on customer feedback obtained from evaluation forms from previous seminars.
- Expert speakers: 2 or 3 speakers (usually assessors from our roster) will share their expertise with the audience in a presentation-style format followed by a question and answer period at the end of the presentations.
- Stay tuned for future seminars: We try our best to notify our customers via phone and email of upcoming seminars. If you would like to be added to our email distribution list, send your request to gayna.creighton@westpark.org.
